It’s one of the great mysteries (at least in my mind!) and depending on the day, hour, or specific situation both of these phrases are likely true. But I’d expect nothing less from myself. True to my Aries form, I tend to jump in and figure it out on the way down. That results in an awful lot of hands on, in the trenches learning. It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me.
Blogging has been tugging on my heart for more years than I can count. This isn’t my first rodeo. I’d like to think that I learned a lot on that first jump and that the last 5 years of life that have happened in the meantime have humbled me, broken me, and helped me rebuild with an even more solid foundation. I’ve watched two babies grow into kids, I’ve closed a chapter, I’ve built a successful business, I’ve said goodbye to two best friends, I’ve learned to trust myself, I’ve learned to find joy in the ordinary, I’ve learned to do more of what makes me happy, I’ve learned that my body can’t be healthy without a healthy mind and vice versa, I’ve learned to embrace change, I’ve learned that perfect is unattainable and quite frankly boring, I’ve learned that I must be authentic to feel at peace when I close my eyes at night, I’ve learned that it’s not always easy but it is ALWAYS worth it.
Although I’ve never ventured into the world of online dating- I feel oddly like I just nailed my dating profile above {insert sarcastic laugh!} Since I’m on a roll, I’ll just keep on going: Florida girl thru and thru. I‘m not sure if I could survive living somewhere with no ocean. Lover of dogs {the bigger & furrier the better.} Introverted extrovert. Book worm. Momma. Wanderlust + nervous flyer = lots of local travel. Unashamed Disney World fanatic. Design on a dime makes me swoon. Renovating a house is totally on my bucket list. Been clothes obsessed & changing outfits since I could walk. Hopeless optimist. Low maintenance but I always floss, brush my teeth, and wash my face before bed but I never shave my legs. Once you go gluten free you never go back. Chocolate is my kryptonite. I kind of have a thing for crafting and DIY. Marketing guru in my former life. Love checking things off my to-do list. I have a love hate relationship with technology.
